Owner Bio
I was born and raised in Spring Hill, Florida, and I’ve lived here all my life. My parents still live just 15 minutes away, and my sister lives nearby with her five kids. I also have a brother and sister-in-law who live in Orlando with their two boys, one of whom is about to graduate. I graduated from Springstead High School in 1999, where I was on the wrestling team.
After high school, I earned my AA from Pasco-Hernando Community College (now Pasco-Hernando State College), followed by my EMT certification. Then I went to fire school at the Citrus County Fire Academy. I later completed paramedic school at PHSC and then earned my bachelor’s degree in Management from International College (now Hodges University). I began my fire service career with Pasco County Fire Rescue in 2002 and have worked my way up through the ranks, promoted to Driver, then Captain in 2012, and currently serving as Battalion Chief since 2020.
Outside of fire rescue, I’ve always had a strong work ethic. I delivered newspapers growing up, and in high school I worked at Padula’s Pizza where I first met my wife. A few years ago, I wanted a dump trailer for personal use, but figured if I was going to spend the money, I might as well find a way to make it earn something when I wasn’t using it. That’s how Five Alarm Dumpsters got started.
The business definitely comes with its challenges, but I enjoy building and running the business and helping people in the process. I like the flexibility, meeting folks in the community, and finding practical ways to solve messy problems. Five Alarm Dumpsters also proudly supports local schools, including Challenger K-8, Nature Coast Tech High School football and flag football, and Hudson High School girls basketball.
I live in Spring Hill with my wife, our two kids, and our two dogs — Ryder and Juliet. My daughter is a cheerleader and plays flag football at Nature Coast Tech High School. My son plays basketball and football for Nature Coast Tech, and recreational flag football. When I get a little time to myself, I like watching the kids play sports, reading, playing games with the family, or working on projects around the house.
